INT. One room apartment — Day

Time is 4:20 PM on the clock and the room is pitch dark with all the windows closed with drapes. We can see slight rays of sunlight leaking through the gaps of the drapes. As we move across the room, we see a phone that starts to vibrate with a caller ID reading out as “DOMERU”. The phone then stops vibrating. Then again starts. There comes a hand that picks the phone and he attends the call. He is sleeping in his tracks and undershirt. He drowsily answers the call.

BOY
Tell me Raja. Whats the matter? Is it that urgent?

RAJA (voice)
What are you doing? Sleeping? How can you?

BOY
What is your problem?

RAJA (Voice)
We lost the Consignment kumar. We frickin’ lost it.

Baffled, Raja gets up from his bed to get his head straight. He wipes his face in disbelief and starts talking.

RAJA (Voice)
Are you there ?

KUMAR
What are you saying? How can that happen? My plan was fool proof.

Raja (Voice)
For fuck’s sake don't say that again. I am just telling you we have lost it.

KUMAR
How could have someone have laid hands on it? or even think about touching it.

Raja (Voice)
Dont wanna talk about it over call. Come to Anna park at 6. You better have an explanation when Guru asks you about it.

KUMAR
Okay. Will be there.

Kumar cuts the call and is still in disbelief. She quickly puts on the shirt and locks opens the door and locks the room.

EXT — Anna Park — Evening

Adjusting his sleeves, Kumar comes in to the park to see a man sitting on the park bench. Quicky he goes to the park bench as the man turns towards his direction. Unknowingly he stepped on a branch and tripped on it and fell directly on the man’s feet. He gives his hand to help him up. Kumar sits down on the park bench patting him down.

KUMAR
What happened? what is the problem?

RAJA
The address that you gave was either wrong or someone stole the consignment from us.

KUMAR
You better not be fucking with me here. You know me.

RAJA
It was all your brilliant plan from the scratch. Now its all gone.

KUMAR
Did Guru say anything about this? Does he know that this happened?

RAJA
I hope not.

Both sit quietly for a moment and then very curiously Raja turns towards Kumar

RAJA
Do you even know what the consignment has? Do you know its contents?

KUMAR
I exactly don't know. But my leads are never wrong about these things. It must be worth a fortune

Raja exasperated. Then he gives a very stern look at Kumar

RAJA
Do you think that i am such a fool? We took all that risk just to take it out and lose it.

KUMAR
Well to be honest we did not take much risk. That consignment came in from a normal goods train. We just had to take it while the train stopped.

RAJA
We did take it away from a TRAIN. And now Guru is frustrated as the police are now following us. What will happen if we find a fucking doll in it?

KUMAR
Just shut it. Where did you exactly check for the consignment?

RAJA
The Address you gave me. 7 Raja street, Koyambedu.

KUMAR
Are you kidding me ? I told you it was 17 Roja street. You imbicile.

RAJA
What ? It cant be….

He checks his phone as it turns out to be 17, Roja street Koyambedu. He gives a look at Kumar as he is ashamed of himself.

Both run towards the bike as in we see a man following him. He follows them through every streets and keeps talking over the headset he is wearing.

EXT. Roja Street — Night

Raja and Kumar enter the street and park in from of the gate 17. We also see the man who is following them enter the scene. He parks the bike 5 feet away from the location and waits for them. Meanwhile we cut to Raja and Kumar entering the house. The man waits and waits and waits and now we hear him.

PANDIAN
Sir Pandian reporting here sir. I have seen the suspects entering the hideout sir. Can we go in ?

VOICE (Phone)
Go and get them.

Just then we see a police jeep entering the scene and 3 men climbed out of the vehicle. They came out and Saluted to Pandian.

PANDIAN
Sundaram, follow me with the team inside the house. The culprits just entered their location

Nodding to it they all followed Pandian. He was silent as a cat while he entered the house.

INT. 17 ROJA STREET — Night

(Meanwhile)

Raja and Kumar enter into the location and they both are very silent. Kumar walks past a broken wooden door into the room and there was the wooden carton. Raja looks at Kumar and smiles awkwardly

RAJA
Didn’t you find a better location to hide the box?

Kumar looks at Raja in Disbelief.

KUMAR
Atleast i was not dumb enough to knock the wrong doors and freak the hell out of some people. Fucker, just open the damn box.

Raja disappointingly goes to the box and opens it. As the box is being opened he gives a shocker of a reaction. as the police enters the premise and takes them down while they are trying to escape. They were being frisked and handcuffed, while Pandian calls to someone over the phone. The phone is answered.

VOICE (Phone)
Pandian was it worth it?

PANDIAN
Sir we did catch the felons but they just got busted for stealing a doll sir.

VOICE
What? Are you serious?

PANDIAN
Yes sir i am not kidding.

VOICE
If this gets out to the department then my reputation is going to take a hit. Damn i missed a promotion. Okay Take them to the station and close a pending case with these buggers. Atleast let them be useful for that.

PANDIAN
Okay sir. Will do that.

The call disconnects. Both Raja and Kumar look at each other. Raja’s look is of pure hatred towards Kumar while kumar just closes his eyes in shame and they both are taken away from that place. Pandian takes out the doll from the carton and keeps its with them and he leaves the place.

INT. Pandian’s house — Night

Pandian enters the house with the doll and he goes to his child.

Boy
Raghavaa… here i got a great toy for you. Play with this.

Raghava, the kid gets the toy with excitement and starts to play with the toy as Pandian goes into the room. Raghava while playing opens the zipper behind the toy as a pouch fell out from it. Playfully opening it he sees diamonds and he is just fascinated by its appearance. He has no clue as to what it was .He takes the stones looks around and spots the fish tank. He goes there and puts all the diamonds inside the fish tank took his toy and jumps and goes to Pandian’s room as the fish tank is seen with sparkling diamonds that settles down with the rest of the decor stones.
